Industry welcomes European Commission views on energy debate.

RDATE:06272002 Brussels -- FORATOM, the trade association for the nuclear energy industry in Europe, has warmly welcomed the European Commission's conclusions on the debate triggered by the Commission Green Paper on security of energy supply, published in November 2000. A final report on the debate was published yesterday (Wednesday) in the form of a Communication to the European Council and the European Parliament.
