Dr Bush will join the CAA on 1 March 2003 and take over as Group Director, Economic Regulation on 1 April, when the term of office of the present Director, Doug Andrew, comes to an end. The appointment is for five years. The CAA is responsible for the regulation of civil aviation in the United Kingdom.
