M2 PRESSWIRE-25 February 2003-IBM: Minyard Food Stores adopts IBM ACE grocery application(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:02242003 IBM and Kyrus announced today that Minyard Food Stores, a regional, privately owned grocery chain in Texas, has installed the IBM SurePOS Application Client/Server Environment (ACE) grocery application in order to improve the checkout process and reduce training time for store personnel.
Minyard will be using a new touch-screen SureVision interface for its operators and plans to take advantage of the new ACE SureVision feature that supports dual displays facing both the checkout clerk and the customer.
