M2 PRESSWIRE-20 February 2003-UK Government: Roger Mountford appointed to the Civil Aviation Authority(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:02202003 Transport Minister John Spellar has appointed Roger Mountford as a part-time non-executive Member of the Board of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for five years.
The appointment comes into effect on 1 April 2003. The salary for the appointment is GBP36,400. The CAA is responsible for the regulation of civil aviation in the United Kingdom and has specific responsibility for aviation safety, airspace policy, consumer protection and economic regulation.
