The status of the pilots has been listed as Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown (DUSTWUN).

Their names are: Chief Warrant Officer David S. Williams, 30, Florida (city not available) Chief Warrant Officer Ronald D. Young, Jr., 26, Lithia Springs, Ga. Williams and Young are assigned to Aviation Battalion, 1/227th Company C, Fort Hood, Texas. The incident is under investigation.
