M2 PRESSWIRE-20 August 2003-ACCC: ACCC issues reports on telecommunications competition, price changes, price controls(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:08192003 The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today issued three telecommunications reports analysing competitive safeguards and price changes for telecommunications services and reporting on Telstras compliance with price control arrangements.
In its assessment of competitive safeguards, the ACCC argued that competition has not developed as extensively as was expected in 1997.
