M2 PRESSWIRE-11 August 2003-UK Government: TV restoration charity registered(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:08082003 The Charity Commission has registered the Restoration Fund it announced today. The charity regulator formally recognised the Fund on Thursday afternoon, in time for the commencement of the BBC TWO Restoration series that begins this evening.
The Fund will work closely with the television series for the purposes of advancing education, by securing the restoration and preservation of buildings or other structures, for the benefit of the public.
