M2 PRESSWIRE-2 October 2003-PrivatAir: Privatair Germany receives JAR-145 approval(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:10022003 International business aviation specialist PrivatAir announced that its German affiliate PrivatAir GmbH has received JAR-145 maintenance approval from the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (German civil aviation authority).
PrivatAir's CEO, Greg Thomas, says "This approval means greater autonomy and flexibility within the framework of our operations on behalf of Lufthansa (transatlantic services to Newark and Chicago) and Airbus (corporate shuttle for Airbus personnel between Toulouse, France, Hamburg, Germany, and Filton/Chester, United Kingdom.
