M2 PRESSWIRE-15 April 2004-Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore: Valuair receives Air Operator Certificate(C)1994-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:04142004 The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has issued Valuair with a Singapore Air Operator Certificate (AOC) today. To qualify for an AOC, an applicant must demonstrate that it is able to operate the intended services safely.

The areas evaluated include manpower, organisation structure, training, maintenance, operations, and quality assurance. Valuair has fulfilled these requirements. To launch commercial service, Valuair would have to apply to the Air Traffic Rights Committee (ATRC) for the traffic rights to the destinations it wishes to operate to.
