Executive General Manager Qantas Airlines, John Borghetti, said the new Qantas service would provide the only direct link between the two cities.

"Our Adelaide-Auckland flights will operate three times a week, offering a two-class service on 168-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft," he said.
