M2 PRESSWIRE-17 August 2004-US DOD: DoD identifies Army casualty(C)1994-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:08172004 The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Spc. Mark Anthony Zapata, 27, of Edinburg, Texas, died August 15 in Najaf, Iraq as a result of hostile fire.
