The sale covers all of BASF printing system facilities and activities, including the production of alkali blue at BASF Corporations plant in Huntington, West Virginia. Closing for CVCs acquisition of pigment production at BASF Colorants & Chemicals Co. Ltd. in Shanghai, China, is expected in 2005. The transaction has been approved by the regulatory authorities.
