In December 2003 the UK Government notified the Commission that it intends to provide State Aid to the NDA. UK officials will work closely with the Commission to ensure a positive outcome. Interim funding arrangements, to cover the duration of the investigation, will allow the NDA to start work as planned on 1 April.
