M2 PRESSWIRE-7 April 2005-US DOD: Contracts; TRICARE management activity(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:06042005 United Concordia Companies Inc. (UCCI), Harrisburg, Pa., is being awarded a $1,422,940,516 fixed-price premium-based contract for the TRICARE Dental Program. The contract provides for an approximate 10-month base period for transition and 5, one-year option periods for dental services.

The base period is from April 6, 2005 through January 31, 2006. Dental services will begin February 1, 2006, and will end January 31, 2011, if all options are exercised.
