M2 PRESSWIRE-6 December 2005-ADB: ADB to assist in strengthening agriculture science and technology management in Viet Nam(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:05122005 HANOI, VIET NAM - The Government of Viet Nam and the Asian Development Bank ( ADB) today signed an agreement for a technical assistance (TA) grant of US$700,000 to help boost management of the agricultural research and extension systems in Viet Nam.

Signing on behalf of ADB was Bradford Philips, Country Director at ADB's Viet Nam Resident Mission. Phung Khac Ke, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam, signed on behalf of the Government.
