(Nasdaq:NXTP), the U.S. affiliate of wireless giant Sprint Nextel Corp., reported Tuesday that fourth-quarter earnings grew 17 percent on higher revenue and additional customers. Earnings increased to $42.4 million, or 14 cents per share, up from the year-ago quarter's profit of $36.3 million, or 12 cents per share.
