M2 PRESSWIRE-17 May 2007-THRANE & THRANE: Thrane & Thrane awarded DKK 17 million systems contract(C)1994-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:17052007 Thrane & Thrane has received a DKK 17 million systems contract from the Japanese communications company, KDDI, one of the worlds leading service providers of Inmarsat airtime.

Delivery of the systems is planned for the fall of 2007. KDDI has decided to invest in new Inmarsat-C Land Earth Station hardware to replace the company's existing equipment located in Yamaguchi, Japan. Furthermore, KDDI has decided to upgrade its existing Inmarsat MPDS Home Land Earth Station with the latest Thrane & Thrane hardware.
