In your editorial "What, me worry?" (Sunday), you lament the lack of knowledge among today's 17-year-old population as measured by Common Core.

But after looking at the methodology of the study, I am more inclined to lament the analysis and your parroting of questionable results:

1. You describe the sample group as "1,200 high-school students," while the report states "the population tested here included a fuller sample of the nation's 17-year-olds, as it potentially included those who had dropped out of school, were ...
