George F. Walker's "Criminal Genius" is about as black as comedy gets. The play, being staged for maximum laughter by the old Walker hands at the Round House Theatre, splits your sides for 80 minutes, then sends you home with blood on your hands. Actually, you may or may not feel implicated in the mayhem that unfolds.

Who is to blame is a question that gets asked at the very beginning, when Rolly - part of the idiotic father-and-son criminal duo that appeared in Mr. Walker's "Escape From Happiness" - describes himself as a victim. That draws a huge laugh ...
