Sesto Senso has a sixth sense for good food, and sits in one of the snazziest spots in town. But the Italian bistro south of Dupont Circle has a brassy, barroom atmosphere that may not appeal to executives looking for a quiet place to do business over lunch. Right now, it's definitely for the informal crowd.

The loud music and noise that verges on drowning out lunch conversations is only surpassed by the loud and garish decor, a melange of yellow-tinged-with-chartreuse walls, plastic orange booths and scattered cherry wood tables and chairs that are distinctly uncomfortable. But once you get past all that, it's all pleasure. After all, what matters most at a restaurant is good food - something Sesto Senso has plenty of to keep customers coming back....
