Byline: Betsy Pisik, THE WASHINGTON TIMES A dozen U.N. food trucks entered the Gaza Strip yesterday, the first wave of desperately needed humanitarian goods to arrive in the territory since the Hamas-Fatah firefights erupted June 11. The 51 metric tons of sugar, vegetable oil and medical supplies moved through Gaza's southern crossing with Israel under the watch of the Israeli army.

A Red Cross ambulance separately evacuated six gravely ill patients for treatment in Israeli hospitals.
