Grocer, March 8, 2003
The organic sector of IFE looks set to be the biggest yet, reflecting the increasing demand for organic produce in the marketplace.
Reflecting the rise of the industry, the Soil Association will, for the first time, bring a dedicated pavilion to the show, with certified organic companies on show.
Dom Lane of the Soil Association said: "Sales of organic food in the UK are rising dramatically. It's important that visitors to the show have the opportunity to meet key contacts in what is a rapidly evolving market."
Companies include Futura Foods which will show its range of dairy products.
Account manager Claire Wynne said: "The show is the ideal platform to present our Continental speciality cheeses."

Gluten Free Foods will use the show to launch its organic products under the new brand of Glutano Organics, which includes pasta, cereals and bread. Richard Ward, the company's managing director, said: "We knew the time was right for us to launch Glutano Organics. It is an example of our aspiration to refine our product range in line with customer requirements."
Fiorucci UK will be exhibiting its organic Mortadella and organic salami and Sardinia Organic will show its cheese, pasta, meats and oils.
As well as the dedicated organics sector, other companies will offer organic products alongside their mainstream offerings. Lisa Tompkins, exhibition director, said: "We are delighted to have the support of the Soil Association and are looking forward to welcoming many more exhibitors into this area."
