Endorsed by a series of major food awards--including Northern Ireland's 'Best Organic Food' award 2007 (Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association) and a 'Taste of Britain' award 2007--Churchtown Farm is developing a formidable reputation for the quality of its organic meat.
Beef fillet is produced from traditional Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn and South Devon cattle that thrive on Churchtown's high forage diet of clovers and grass and is matured for 28 days in purpose built premises.
The company's lamb products are from pure-bred Lleyn, with exceptional eating quality derived from a diet of clover swards in Summer/ Autumn and turnips in Winter. With three new grain stores, Churchtown is also able to dry and store its own organic grains for use as Winter feed and as seed for planting.
'Whether it's caring for our land, our animals, our meat, or our customers, we will do our very best to ensure the best possible result: Dale Orr, Managing Director.
