Epsilon secures railway contract

Epsilon Secures Railway Contract: San Diego-based Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc. was awarded a contract to install a video and security sensor system to protect segments of the Amtrak and Jacksonville, Fla.-based CSX Corp. railway systems in the Washington, D.C., area.

Epsilon Systems teamed with Duos Technologies, which is also based in Jacksonville, to complete the installation.

"Protecting our country's vital infra-structure is something that we are passionate about at Epsilon Systems," said Bryan Min, president and chief executive officer. "Many of our key customers at Epsilon Systems have missions which focus on defending our freedom and protecting our nation's vital assets. It is gratifying that (the U.S. Department of Homeland Security) has placed its trust in us to complete this important project."

The dollar amount of the contract was not released.
