Question: What does San Diego, have in common with Jalalabad, Afghanistan and Shannon, Ireland? Answer: Nothing yet, but both soon may become San Diego's newest sister cities. The Jalalabad effort is being organized by a group of citizens led by a local attorney, while the push for Shannon, Ireland is fueled by the somewhat unorthodox prompting of Mayor Dick Murphy.
