Barbara Hunter has joined Regents Bank to head the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program

Barbara Hunter has joined Regents Bank to head the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program. Hunter has more than 20 years' experience making small-business loans. She previously worked for Union Bank as vice president, regional real estate loan officer, managing 504 loan programs. Hunter has also served as vice president/loan officer for CDC Small Business Finance.

Security Business Bank of San Diego announced the hire of Dan Cabuco Jr. as vice president and commercial loan officer. Cabuco will be responsible for developing, underwriting and managing client loan portfolios in the North County coastal region. Cabuco has a strong background in commercial lending and cash management and has more than 15 years of banking and insurance experience. He previously served as vice president/senior commercial loan officer for Cuyamaca Bank. Bunker Hill Capital, L.P. announced that Brian Kinsman has joined the firm as managing partner and will open a West Coast office in San Diego. Kinsman has more than 20 years of private equity experience and founded Kinsman Capital, LLC in 1998. He previously served as senior managing director for Pacific Corporate Group Inc. Hugh O'Donnell has joined Discovery Bank as senior vice president/SBA loan manager. O'Donnell has 14 years of experience in banking and financial services and will oversee the bank's government guaranteed loan programs. Most recently, he was vice president/SBA department manager for Washington Mutual Bank.
