The Escondido Chamber of Commerce is honoring three of its best businesses. Small Business of the Year goes to On the Border Mexican Grill, Medium Business of the Year is Stone Brewing Co. and Large Business of the Year is Escondido Disposal. The city is going through a major expansion with a new hospital, a new power generating plant, a new Lexus and Toyota dealership, a major remodel of the Westfield North County shopping center and its first major hotel with the new Marriott, which will be adjacent to the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. It's easy to see why the chamber is lauding three successful businesses.
