Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America recognized 15 business-savvy girls through its Girls Going Places entrepreneurship award program. Guardian Life granted $30,000 to girls to allow them to reinvest in entrepreneurial projects or save for college. Sixteen-year-old Alice Cash of San Diego, founder of Broadway Kids, a community theater company owned and operated by children, was one of 15 winners.
