City, Caltrans not taking safety for granted
San Diego Business Journal, July 23, 2007 by Mike Allen
The city received a $445,500 grant from the California Department of Transportation for safety improvements at the North County Transit District bus stop at the intersection of West Vista Way and Grapevine Road. The project consists of building a concrete protection barrier around the bus stop to shield riders and pedestrians from vehicles traveling on westbound state Route 78.
The remainder of the project's total cost of $495,000 will be supplied by the city through its capital improvement budget.
