Conventioneers to learn why ideas die

Executives from the consumer electronics industry plan to converge here Oct. 14-17 when the Consumer Electronics Association hosts a four-day conference at the Hotel del Coronado. The program will include a holiday sales forecast and a keynote speech by Chip Heath, co-author of "Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die."
