The San Diego Museum of Art announced the addition of Julia Marciari-Alexander as the deputy director for curatorial affairs. Marciari-Alexander joins the museum from the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, Conn., where she served as the associate director of exhibitions and publications. She will be responsible for all existing curatorial programs at the San Diego Museum of Art and will lead a new publication program for the institution. Marciari-Alexander received her Ph.D. in the history of art from Yale University as well as two master's degrees, one in art history from Yale and another in French literature from New York University.
