San Diego Business Journal, Nov 18, 2002 by Brad Graves

Science Applications International Corp. has a $5.1 million Department of Justice contract to train hospital and health care managers to meet situations where terrorists use weapons of mass destruction.

SAIC has provided the course to more than 10,000 hospital personnel under contracts from both the Justice and Defense departments. The new DOJ contract calls for SAIC to perform the work over three years.

In other news, San Diego-headquartered SAIC announced it had set up an office in North Carolina's Research Triangle.
