Prudential California Realty has donated 12 computers from its local offices to the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego. The computers will be given to USD real estate students on a first-come, first-served basis. During 2005, 18 San Diego County Wal-Mart stores donated more than $785,000 to more than 100 community nonprofit organizations and schools in San Diego County.
The San Diego Foundation has announced that a $100,000 gift was granted to Nativity Prep Academy as a result of its Endow San Diego initiative. Latham & Watkins LLP and its employees have contributed $815,000 to more than 110 relief and community organizations for Hurricane Katrina.
