Highest-grossing hotels corrected

The list of highest-grossing hotels that appeared in the March 5 issues of Arkansas Business was flawed because of a spreadsheet error. The corrected list is below.

The hotels were ranked by total revenue in 2006, and the rankings in last week's issue were correct. However, guest rooms identified as suites were counted twice, which grossly exaggerated the number of rooms in suite hotels such as the Embassy Suites hotels in Little Rock and Rogers. The room number error then created an error in the calculation that determined revenue per room.

The electronic spreadsheet version of this list available for purchase on Arkansasbusiness.com/lists has also been corrected.
