SEC basketball
Arkansas Business, April 7, 2008
Without the last two Florida national. title teams, the Southeastern Conference suffered badly in the NCAA Tournament. No. 2 seed Tennessee Looked average in two wins and then was blitzed by 19 points by Louisville. Arkansas beat Indiana, then Lost by 31 to North Carolina. Overseeded (at a No. 4) Vanderbilt was stomped in its first game, injury-riddled Kentucky had a tough opening draw, and mediocre Georgia ran out of juice after a miracle SEC tourney run.
Only Mississippi State Looked like it belonged, beating Oregon and falling by 3 to Memphis in two games at Alltel Arena.
