Steven Sanderson, president and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society, has been presented the University of Central Arkansas' Distinguished Alumnus Award. Before his appointment in 2001, Sanderson was dean of the college of arts and sciences at Emory University in Atlanta. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from UCA at Conway in 1971.
