Want to save even more energy?

Look into those tiny, powerful sources of light called LEDs (light-emitting diodes). They're more expensive than CFLs, but they last longer--both understatements. Fortune magazine reported that one LED bulb can cost up to $75 but can last as long as a decade! And, they contain no mercury. Watch for LEDs to become more economic and functional for the home in years to come.
