The Arkansas Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators handed out Bronze Quill Awards to recognize creative excellence in communications, advertising, public relations and marketing.

The group gave out awards of excellence for the categories of programs and campaigns; communication skills; audio visual; printed materials; writing; design; electronic and multimedia; and exhibits and displays.

Awards winners (and the number of excellence awards they received) were: Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield (nine), The Communications Group (six), Sells/Clark (two), Aristotle (two), Arkansas Children's Hospital (two), Riggs Tractor Co. (one), Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods (one), Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce (one), Acxiom Corp. (one), University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (one) and Winrock International (one).
