Alltel Corp. has agreed to pay $1.33 million as part of a civil settlement with the Department of Justice and the state of Minnesota that resolves Alltel's alleged violations of two court orders in connection with its buyout of Midwest Wireless Holdings LLC last year. Of the $1.325 million payment, $745,000 will go to the state of Minnesota and the remainder will go to the U.S. Treasury.
