Allstate Gives Break On Brakes Allstate will soon begin offering motorists who have the right braking systems a significant break on their automobile insurance premiums. In an apparent jump on its competition, the nation's second largest auto insurer said drivers of vehicles equipped with four-wheel, anti-lock braking systems will get a 10 percent discount on three major policy coverages--bodily injury, property damage liability and collision.
While United Services Automobile Association, San Antonio, offers the anti-lock brake discount, it applies only to business interruption and property damage and doesn't include collision, Allstate representative Greg Rossiter noted.
