NCCI Board Votes To Add Public Reps. WASHINGTON - The National Council on Compensation Insurance board of directors has voted unanimously to have public members on its board for the first time. A high-ranking NCCI official told the National Association of Insurance Commissioners at a recent hearing on the role of advisory organizations in workers' compensation insurance that the NCCI board voted in September to have public members represented.
Michael Camilleri, NCCI senior vice president, said a formal proposal on the issue would be presented to the board at its winter meeting and would be voted on at the NCCI's April meeting.
