VP Dan Quayle Backs Tort Reform In The Lion's Den It may be overstating the case to compare Vice President Dan Quayle's recent appearance before the American Bar Association to the Biblical story of Daniel in the lion's den. Nevertheless, it required a great deal of chutzpah to carry the administration's message on how to reduce litigation costs directly to the law's practitioners.
