Auto Repair Partnership Causes Stir A partnership between two information providers to the automobile collision repair industry has raised concerns over decreased competition between shops and increased insurer influence on auto repair rates. San Diego-based Mitchell International and ADP Automotive Claims Services of San Ramon, Calif., have formed a data communications network that electronically links members of the insurance and collision repair industries participating in direct repair programs.
