Good progress is being made in implementation of recommendations made in the report of the Lloyd's Task Force at the beginning of this year, according to a Lloyd's statement. "Work on progressing the recommendations has been carried out by appropriate committees of the Council and six specially established working parties," the Lloyd's statement said.

The recommendations which have been implemented or significantly advanced since January, according to Lloyd's, include: * The report of the Sir Jeremy Morse working party on the governance of Lloyd's was accepted in principle by the Council.
