The recent debate over contractual liability coverage contained in a new commercial general liability filing has left agent with a nagging question: what coverage currently exists for insureds? The heated controversy over whether or not the new filing brings defense costs for extra-contractual third-party indemnitees within limits has shined a bright light on the question of whether such insureds in fact now have coverage, or merely the illusion of it.
