As hurricanes, natural fires, storms, droughts and floods have continued to plague the United States over the last few years, the dialogue about climate change between environmental groups and the insurance industry appears to have gained some momentum. "We've continued to see indications of our climate in chaos," said Kelly Quirke, a representative for Greenpeace's energy and climate campaign in San Francisco, citing the recent floods in California.
