DANIEL HAYS The National Council on Compensation Insurance has elected an executive from Boston-based Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., Gary Gregg, to head its board. Mr. Gregg, who is executive vice president and manager of Liberty Mutual's business market strategic business unit, succeeds Thomas Hayes as chairman of the Boca Raton, Fla.-based workers' comp statistical collection and rate-setting group.
A statement issued by the NCCI said Mr. Gregg was happy to be elected and the group would have an 'ambitious agenda for 1998 and beyond.' He refused requests for an interview.
