PITTSBURGH--Twenty-nine low-income housing initiatives have won a total of $6.15 million in funding grants under the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh's affordable housing program. The grants will finance 1,385 units in affordable housing projects located in Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Total development costs are more than $101.6 million. "This...year of AHP funding reinforces the bank's mission to enhance the quality of communities all across the region," said James D. Roy, president at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. "Each time housing becomes affordable to families or individuals, communities grow stronger," he said.
