It was 10 years ago that ACORD first considered using a pen-based computing device to complete an ACORD form. In fact, we worked with the Insurance Services Office on a prototype and used it for demonstrations, but the experiment didn't pan out. Technology issues and user-friendly applications have always been evasive for pen computing platforms.

Although touch-screen devices that enable pen input are proliferating, what about devices that more closely mirror the pen and paper that we use all the time?
