The ACE Claims Professional of the Year award was presented last week to Don Deckert of the Wichita-based Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Deckert, who was recently promoted to bodily injury specialist at Farm Bureau, was recognized for his "outstanding achievements during his five-year career in claims adjustment," according to Phil Schreiner, editor of Claims magazine, a National Underwriter Company publication.
The award was presented in Tampa last week during the 5th Annual ACE Conference & Exhibition, run by Claims and Erlanger, Ky.-based NUCO.
